About Mommy & Me At Little Swimmers we believe that every child has the ability to swim and be confident in the water - even the youngest additions to your family. That is why we also offer Mommy & Me classes for children under 2 years old. Our Mommy & Me classes are just as structured as the rest of our classes, and go beyond just getting your child to be comfortable in the water. Upon passing our two levels of Mommy & Me, your child will be able to swim short distances comfortably by themselves. Mommy & Me classes are 30 minute lessons. Please see Registration and Policies for pricing. A parent is required to be in the pool with each little swimmer. For twins, arrangements can be made for our instructor to handle one child, so only one parent is needed for these lessons. Most of our Mommy & Me classes are offered in the afternoon hours, due to the overall warmer temperatures, but we can also accommodate morning classes if desired. Children who are not yet potty-trained are required to wear a reusable cloth diaper in the pool. These diapers are sold at Target, Wal-Mart, etc. at a cost of approximately $6. We like the Wee Wave brand. Levels of Accomplishment Dependent on your child's comfort level in the water as well as with instruction, we offer two levels of accomplishment for our Mommy & Me swimmers: Parent Participation 1 (Adult in the water with child)

Our Mommy & Me classes consists of no more than 2 adults swimming with their babies. During the winter months the water is heated, making the temperature inside our airtiht dome nice and warm for our babies (and parents too) to enjoy their lessons!
