Registration & Policies | Registration & Policies We are available to accept your registration form at any time during the day. Please either fax, e-mail or drop off the filled out form to us, and we will process it as soon as possible. If we do not have any classes available during your preferred times, we are happy to put you on our waiting list. You will then be contacted when a class opens up. Our pool is open for classes during the following hours: Our lesson availability is based upon demand and is constantly changing, so it would be impractical to send out a class schedule. Please contact us to inquire about available times. Registration Fee We charge a one-time registration fee of $35 per student. Siblings added to the Little Swimmers program are discounted to $10. Registration of classes is based on a monthly commitment, with one lesson per week. If more lessons per week are desired, we are happy to accommodate as long as our schedule permits. Sibling Discounts We offer a $5 sibling discount when you add classes for a sibling to a current swimmer. This discount will be effective for as long as all siblings are swimming with us. Class Structure & Timing Classes are 1 hour starting at 5 minutes after the hour and ending 5 minutes before the hour, to ensure a smooth transition and offering a chance for instructor to communicate with parent and child about the just ended lesson. Payment Full tuition is due at the time of registration. We currently only accept Checks or Cash. Payment cycle is 4 weeks. After 4 swim lessons, tuition is due again. If we do not receive a check before or at the beginning of the first lesson in the new payment cycle, a late fee of 20% of that payment cycle cost will apply. If a check is returned due to insufficient funds, a $25 fee will be charged to be paid immediately. Lessons can not take place until payment and any current fees have been received. Cancellation & Make-ups Please read our policies regarding cancellation and make-ups carefully: Hour-long lessons A full month of lessons (4) can be cancelled or changed only with notice 10-days prior to your first lesson. A $30 cancellation fee will be charged for each month or change of lesson days. If we receive less than a 10-day notice, only 50% of the tuition will be refunded, while no refunds will be made once lessons have started. We require at least 6 hours notice for the individual lesson cancellation. If calling before or after business hours, please leave a message on our answering machine. If we are given less notice, we can not offer a make-up session. One change, cancel or transfer is permitted for hour-long sessions. Make-up lessons must be made during the current month, and requests will be granted if space is available. Cancellations by the instructor will result in a make-up lesson based on availability. Make-up lessons in our hour-long Mommy & Me classes are only offered in other Mommy & Me classes and are based on availability. 30 Minute lessons Non - Renewal If you do not wish to renew classes for your child, we need to receive notice 2 weeks prior to the renewal date (first lesson in new payment cycle). If we do not receive the appropriate notice of non-renewal, 50% of the tuition for the new payment cycle will be due to Little Swimmers. Other Policies A parent must be present during their child’s lesson. Siblings are welcome to come along as long as they are not in the pool area. A playstructure and outdoor toys are available for their entertainment. For swimmers not yet potty-trained we only allow reusable cloth diapers in the pool. Register here!
